Michelle’s journey into the world of floral artistry is a story of passion, persistence, and purpose. Her love for flowers began in her youth, inspired by the breathtaking lavender fields in the Taiwanese drama "Lavender". From that moment on, she held a quiet dream - to one day create her own haven filled with flowers. It wasn’t until her thirties that she finally turned this long-held dream into action. In February 2024, Michelle earned her Korea Florist Professional Certificate Level 3 from KFTA, a key milestone that strengthened her foundation in floral design. While trained in Korean techniques, her classes explore a wide range of styles, offering students a well-rounded and globally inspired floral education. Michelle continued to strengthen her foundations by taking courses in various floral styles - including Ikebana, organic wild arrangements, and architectural floral design - all of which helped shape her distinct perspective as a designer. With a renewed sense of purpose, she brought home the techniques she learned, hoping to inspire and empower future florists through floral education and creativity. This passion led her to establish Dalnim Floral Design Studio & Academy — a sanctuary where flowers serve as a medium for creative expression, and where she now nurtures both blooms and budding florists. Rooted in her belief that floral design is an art, a movement, and a discipline, Dalnim is a space where each arrangement tells a story - grounded in design principles, refined through practice, and elevated by emotion.
